Carolyn Johson, MSW

Carolyn is a therapist with over 18 years of experience in assisting individuals that have acute and chronic mental health and substance abuse diagnosis.  She received a master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in community mental health from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2004.  Carolyn has a special place in her heart for mental health.

Carolyn specializes in working with all age ranges from children to adults.  She also specializes in couples family therapy, and parent coaching.  She is currently working with post adoption families and with children who have experienced significant trauma.  In the past Carolyn has worked with individuals that present with suicidal ideations, Bi-Polar, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, and several other challenges.  

 

Carolyn believes that healthy relationships, and healthy minds are the main ingredients for a healthy life.
